About the role
The Licensed Practice Manager (LPM) oversees all aspects of the location's business operations. Emphasizing "people first," the LPM champions their team through development programs, coaching, mentoring, and performance management. They are responsible for driving top line sales, increasing margins, controlling payroll expenses, and boosting profitability to align with the company's broader business objectives.
Responsibilities
- Create memorable patient experiences and keep score to drive sales and profitability.
- Collaborate with staff and OD partners to ensure professional eye exams and medical services, quality product selection, and acceptance of vision insurance plans.
- Build an effective team that collaborates to achieve results, addressing the practice's unique strengths and challenges with objectives, strategies, and plans.
- Set clear objectives for store staff, communicate expectations clearly, and set high standards for performance.
- Lead by example in delivering remarkable patient service and experience using the Acuity Way.
- Recruit and retain top talent aligned with AEG's values, focusing on long-term sustainability.
- Learn quickly and adapt to new challenges, seeking creative solutions to problems.
- Drive results and develop others, sharing best practices within the AEG platform.
- Adapt to change, remain versatile, and orchestrate multiple activities to accomplish various goals through superior service.
- Review daily sales, identify gaps, and implement solutions to close those gaps.
- Promote the practice's selling strategy and the Acuity Way.
- Protect the company from loss through loss prevention measures.
- Partner with Human Resources to ensure employees adhere to the company handbook guidelines.
Qualifications
- 3-5 years of professional setting background with leadership capacity.
- State licensure.
- Optical dispensing experience.
- Business degree in hospitality, business, or related field in management.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Optician certification.
