Licensed Practical Nurse - Outpatient Neurology

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to adult patients, primarily in the Botox/nerve injection clinic.
• Perform pre-visit phone calls, complete forms, reinforce patient education, and assist in outpatient duties.
• Collaborate closely with RNs, Neurologists, and medical secretaries in an outpatient setting.
• Collect patient data, communicate observations, and support patient assessment and care planning.
• Deliver care according to patient care plans, organizational policies, and relationship-based care principles.
• Participate in team activities, quality improvement projects, and mentorship.

Qualifications & Skills

• Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program or eligible after completing part of an RN program.
• Current LPN license and BLS certification required.
• Preferred experience in neurology and outpatient settings.
• Strong communication skills, team-oriented, adaptable, and proficient with electronic medical records.
• Ability to work flexible hours and handle unpredictable situations.
