About the role
Provides patient care utilizing the nursing process under supervision or RN direction, ensuring professional accountability, patient rights, and confidentiality. Coordinates patient care across departments within a Med-surg Telemetry unit focused on adult medical patients requiring telemetry monitoring.
Responsibilities
- Develops critical thinking and assessment skills
- Participates in innovative projects to improve nursing practices
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program
- Valid LPN license in the state, including LPN-IV certification
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire
- Experience can be new or seasoned LPNs
