Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Night Shift
About the role
Join the Team as an LPN at our Forest City Hospice House! This PRN Night Shift (7 pm‑7 am) position offers the opportunity to create meaningful patient experiences. As a hospice licensed practical nurse (LPN), you will work under the direction and supervision of a registered nurse to conduct patient visits, provide routine care, and communicate with the care team, patients, and their families. You will also have access to a supportive leadership team, professional development opportunities, and room for advancement.
Responsibilities
- Conduct patient visits and provide routine hospice care under RN supervision.
- Communicate effectively with the care team, patients, and families.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure compassionate, patient‑centered care.
- Utilize supportive leadership resources and pursue professional development opportunities.
Qualifications
- A heart to serve patients and families and a passion for providing the best possible care.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a current state license as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
- 2+ years of nursing experience in an acute‑care setting, or equivalent experience (hospice experience preferred).
- Reliable transportation.
- Ability to sit, stand, bend, move intermittently and lift at least 80‑100 lb, bearing the weight of an average adult effectively.
