Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Night Shift
Responsibilities
- Provides general nursing care as required.
- Develops a therapeutic relationship with patients.
- Distributes medication as prescribed and properly maintains the MARS.
- Establishes and maintains professional contact with the patient’s physician and in planning the patient’s care.
- Intervenes appropriately to de-escalate residents as needed.
- Provides quality and excellent nursing care to assigned behavioral health children and adolescents.
- Models and teaches appropriate life skills to the patients.
Requirements
- Active Licensed Practical Nurse License in the State of Alabama or eligible compact license.
- Prefers one-year direct care experience in a behavioral health setting.
- Must be CPR Certified.
