Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Medical/Surgical Nursing - Full-Time, Night

About the role

We are seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or Physician. This role reports to a supervisor and involves night shifts at a hospital facility within the Medical/Surgical Nursing department.

Responsibilities

• Delivering individualized nursing care based on care plans that address physical, emotional, cultural, spiritual, and educational needs.
• Monitoring and documenting patient status, including vital signs, dressings, and lab results.
• Communicating patient observations and changes in condition to healthcare providers.
• Maintaining accurate and confidential medical records.
• Administering medications and using specialized equipment as delegated.
• Performing patient and family education and other assigned duties.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited LPN program recognized by the State Board of Nursing.
• At least one year of LPN experience or equivalent training, including residency programs or LPN to RN transition programs.
• Current LPN license recognized by the NCSBN Compact or the state of practice.

Skills

Basic clinical knowledge and ability to follow care protocols.
