Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Medical/Surgical - Full-Time Night

About the role

Provide nursing care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or Physician, including data collection, patient monitoring, and documentation of responses.

Responsibilities

• Delivering patient-centered care tailored to individual needs, including physical, emotional, cultural, spiritual, psychosocial, and educational aspects.
• Monitoring and recording vital signs, dressings, drains, lab values, and patient responses.
• Communicating observations and changes in patient status to the healthcare team.
• Maintaining accurate and confidential medical records.
• Using specialized equipment for data collection and orienting patients and families to routines.
• Administering and documenting medications per policy.
• Performing additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Completion of an approved LPN program.
• At least one year of LPN experience or successful completion of a recognized residency or transition program.
• Current LPN license recognized by the NCSBN Compact or applicable state.

Skills

• Basic knowledge necessary for patient care tasks.
