LPN - Licensed Practical Nurse - Full-Time Nights

About the role

We are seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide professional nursing care in a long-term care setting, under supervision of a registered nurse, advanced practice provider, or physician.

Responsibilities

• Assessing residents and administering medications or treatments as prescribed
• Monitoring resident health, comfort, and safety
• Performing testing to evaluate health status and respond to emergent situations
• Documenting resident interactions, care outcomes, and behaviors
• Collaborating with healthcare team members and maintaining effective relationships
• Counseling residents and families on prevention and treatment plans
• Supporting resident education and self-care initiatives
• Performing additional duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program; associate degree preferred
• Unencumbered LPN license with state nursing board or multi-state licensure
• Experience or clinical hours across lifespan; additional training for IV therapy if required
• Completion of required continuing education and competency training
• Ability to work effectively with interdisciplinary teams and communicate clearly
• Knowledge of resident care principles and confidentiality standards
