Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Medical/Surgical - Full-Time Night

About the role

Provides nursing care under supervision, focusing on data collection, patient monitoring, and family instruction. Performs licensed patient care functions, including administering medications and using specialized equipment.

Responsibilities

• Delivers individualized patient care based on delegated plans, addressing physical, emotional, cultural, spiritual, psychosocial, and educational needs.
• Monitors and documents patient status, including vital signs, drains, dressings, and lab results.
• Informs healthcare team of patient responses and changes in condition.
• Maintains confidentiality and accuracy of medical records.
• Assists with patient and family orientation to routines.
• Performs additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited LPN program recognized by the State Board of Nursing.
• At least one year of LPN experience or equivalent residency program; candidates enrolled in an LPN to RN transition program are also eligible.
• Current LPN license recognized by NCSBN Compact or in the practicing state.
• Notification to management upon obtaining RN licensure.
