Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Medical/Surgical - Full-Time - Day

About the role

Provides nursing care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or Physician, focusing on patient data collection, monitoring, and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient-centered care based on individualized plans, addressing physical, emotional, cultural, spiritual, psychosocial, and educational needs.
• Monitor and record vital signs, dressings, lab values, and patient responses.
• Communicate patient status and changes to healthcare team members.
• Maintain accurate, confidential medical records.
• Utilize specialized equipment for data collection, and orient patients and families to routines.
• Administer and document medications per policies.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Completion of an accredited LPN program recognized by the State Board of Nursing.
• At least one year of LPN experience or equivalent training, such as residency programs or transition programs.
• Current LPN license recognized by the NCSBN Compact or the state of practice.

Schedule

Day shifts in a hospital setting.
