Role Overview
This position supports nursing education and clinical practice within a healthcare setting, focusing on professional development, clinical competencies, and adherence to organizational policies. Under supervision, the team member manages patient care, collects data, participates in interdisciplinary teams, and ensures compliance with standards and regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Attend and actively participate in quality, core curriculum, and professional development activities.
- Affiliate with patient data collection, documentation, and communication with registered nurses.
- Contribute to care planning, provide treatments, and educate patients on discharge instructions.
- Recognize emergencies, escalate issues, and advocate for patient rights.
- Record care activities, monitor patient status, and implement nursing measures under supervision.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and ensure safe working conditions.
- Perform other assigned duties as needed.
Qualifications & Skills
- Completion of a recognized LPN program or equivalent.
- Current LPN licensure recognized by the state or multistate license.
- Less than 12 months of LPN experience required.
- Ability to adhere to policies, demonstrate patient advocacy, and participate in team efforts.
