About the role
Provides basic nursing care in a non-acute ambulatory setting under supervision, following professional standards, regulations, and organizational policies.
Responsibilities
- Assist with examinations, procedures, and patient care activities
- Prepare and maintain exam rooms, supplies, and equipment
- Document vital signs, medical history, and encounter data accurately
- Support patient education on health and self-care
- Coordinate appointments, tests, referrals, and admissions
- Administer medications and treatments as directed
- Monitor supplies and equipment functionality
- Maintain a safe, clean, and caring environment
- Collaborate with team members, participate in training, and adhere to policies
Qualifications & Skills
- Completion of an LPN program recognized by the State Board of Nursing or equivalent
- Current LPN license (multistate or state-specific)
- Experience not required; new graduates welcome
- Ability to promote positive health behaviors and work effectively in a team
Additional Information
