Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Full-Time Day Shifts

Role Overview: The Facility Licensed Nurse (LPN/LVN) provides compassionate, high-quality pediatric nursing care in a supportive environment for children with complex medical needs. Under supervision of an RN, responsibilities include monitoring patient status, implementing physician orders, and maintaining accurate documentation. Key Responsibilities Monitor and assess children's health, identify care priorities, and communicate updates to the team and families.Administer medications, manage feeding tubes, oxygen, and IV therapies, and respond promptly to emergencies.Collaborate with interdisciplinary team, assess family needs, and provide education and emotional support.Mentor new staff, stay informed on pediatric nursing trends, and ensure compliance with policies and regulations. Qualifications & Skills Active LPN or LVN license in the state of practice, with no disciplinary actions.Knowledge of ventilators, tracheostomies, suctioning, apnea monitors, and related equipment.Current BLS certification, negative TB test or chest X-ray, and background check.Strong leadership, critical thinking, time management, and communication skills.Ability to maintain confidentiality, work under pressure, and support diverse families. Physical & Work Environment: Must be able to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 lbs, responding swiftly in emergencies, and working in environments with potential exposure to latex, blood, and infectious materials. The role involves transporting patients and maintaining a safe, clean, positive setting for children.
