Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Full-Time Day Shift

About the Role

This position involves implementing, coordinating, and supervising comprehensive Health, Wellness, and Clinical Programs for Assisted Living Residents, ensuring compliance with policies, regulations, and standards.

Responsibilities

• Providing nursing assessments, care planning, and overseeing quality assurance for residents.
• Maintaining accurate charts, implementing wellness check-ups, and coordinating third-party healthcare vendors.
• Managing medication administration, staff training, and ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Leading resident health monitoring through scheduled check-ups, reviewing medications, vital signs, and overall well-being.
• Communicating with residents, families, and healthcare professionals, participating in care planning and quality meetings.
• Supporting community infection control, quality assurance, and staff training.
• Assessing prospective residents, coordinating outside services, and overseeing incident reports.
• Assuming operational responsibilities in the absence of leadership and supporting staff development.

Requirements

• Current Maryland RN license with at least three years of nursing experience, preferably in geriatrics.
• Successful completion of a 20-hour Delegating Nurse Course within 60 days.
• Ability to manage medication protocols, supervise staff, and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Strong communication, assessment, and leadership skills.
• Must be vaccinated and boosted per CDC guidelines.
