About the role
Provides essential direct resident care in a 160-bed skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility.
Responsibilities
- Support unit leadership and respond to resident and family needs within the LPN scope of practice
- Use nursing judgment and skills to prioritize and deliver quality care
- Administer treatments and medications, observe resident responses
- Communicate with the care team to update Care Plans and report findings
- Monitor and document vital signs, treatments, and responses
- Oversee CNA activities, considering resident needs and staff competency
Requirements
- Graduate of an approved Nursing program
- Current, active LPN license in New York
- Compassionate, dedicated to providing exceptional care
- Strong communication, organization, and customer service skills
- Ability to work under pressure and collaborate effectively with staff
Schedule
- Full-time and part-time opportunities available
- Requires every other weekend commitment
