Licensed Practical Nurse, LPN

Responsibilities

• Provide daily support to unit leadership and respond promptly to resident and family needs within the scope of practice.
• Use nursing processes, judgment, and skills to prioritize and deliver high-quality, safe resident care.
• Administer standard treatments and medications, monitor resident responses, and observe for adverse effects.
• Communicate and collaborate with care team members to update care plans, review lab/test results, and address incidents or concerns.
• Monitor and document vital signs, treatments, and resident responses accurately.
• Oversee and evaluate the delivery of care provided by CNAs, considering resident needs and staff competency.

Requirements

• Graduate of an approved nursing school and licensed in good standing in New York.
• Committed to providing compassionate, clinically sound care.
• Strong communication, organization, and customer service skills.
• Ability to work well under pressure and collaboratively with staff.
• Dedicated to creating a positive environment conducive to rehabilitation and health.

Schedule

• Various shifts available, including full-time, part-time, and per diem options.
• Every other weekend required.
