Licensed Practical Nurse - Clinic

About the Role

Provide patient-centered care, support physicians, and assist with clinical procedures within the scope of practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).

Responsibilities

• Ensure patient safety, adhere to quality, safety, and emergency policies, and maintain infection control standards.
• Support medical staff by preparing patients, communicating delays, and facilitating schedules.
• Perform routine and specialized nursing procedures, including medication administration and monitoring patient conditions.
• Educate patients on preventive health measures and post-care instructions.
• Assist with examinations, treatments, minor surgeries, and recordkeeping in medical charts.
• Support orientation and training of new staff; may perform duties of a Nursing Assistant or Medical Receptionist.
• Manage supplies inventory and demonstrate service excellence aligned with organizational values.

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited Practical Nursing program.
• Active Colorado LPN license.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 3 months of hire.

Qualifications

• Preferred: I.V. therapy certification.
• Preferred: Experience with adults, pediatrics, or trauma.
• Preferred: Spanish-speaking skills.
