Licensed Practical Nurse - Clinic

About the role

Provides patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse or physician within the pediatrics department.

Responsibilities

• Assessing patient well-being and contributing to care plans.
• Administering medications and monitoring for adverse reactions.
• Performing laboratory tests and therapeutic services.
• Educating patients and families on treatment, self-care, and resources.
• Documenting provider encounters, transcribing orders, and completing charts.
• Ensuring patient safety and performing additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program or equivalent.
• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with appropriate certification and BLS Healthcare Provider certification.
• Physical ability to perform frequent standing, walking, lifting, and data entry tasks.
• Strong communication skills and alertness to safety.

Schedule

Day shifts, no weekends or holidays.
