About the role
We are seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide patient care in the Orthopedics department, covering Wentzville and St. Charles locations.
Responsibilities
- Assessing patient well-being and contributing to care plans
- Administering medications and monitoring for adverse reactions
- Performing laboratory tests and therapeutic services
- Educating patients and families on treatment, self-care, and resources
- Documenting provider encounters, transcribing orders, and updating patient charts
- Ensuring patient safety and performing other assigned duties
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program or equivalent
- License as an LPN, with BLS certification per location requirements
- Ability to communicate effectively, stand, walk, lift, and perform physical tasks as needed
Schedule
Day shift, no weekends or holidays
