Licensed Occupational Therapist Lead

About the role

Lead and manage the occupational therapy team in a rehabilitation setting. Assist the Director of Therapy Operations with daily team activities such as scheduling, training, and communication, while also providing direct patient care.

Build strong patient relationships, understand their physical, mental, and emotional needs, and celebrate their recovery milestones. The role emphasizes compassionate, personalized care and leadership to achieve positive patient outcomes in a collaborative, inclusive environment focused on delivering exceptional post-acute care.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the occupational therapy team
• Assist the Director of Therapy Operations with daily team activities (scheduling, training, communication)
• Provide direct patient care
• Build strong patient relationships and understand their physical, mental, and emotional needs
• Celebrate patient recovery milestones

Requirements

• Current licensure or certification in occupational therapy
• CPR certification (or obtain within 30 days of hire)
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from an accredited occupational therapy program
• Minimum of three years of occupational therapy experience, including leadership or clinical practice

Qualifications (Preferred)

• Active Therapy Clinical Ladder status
• Specialty certifications in occupational therapy
