Occupational Therapist Lead

About the role

Lead and oversee the occupational therapy team, ensuring effective implementation of treatments and procedures. Provide direct patient care, fostering personalized recovery plans and building meaningful relationships to support rehabilitation goals. Assist the Director of Therapy Operations with daily team management, including scheduling, training, and communication with hospital staff.

Responsibilities

• Supervise therapy team activities and ensure quality care delivery
• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered occupational therapy services
• Coordinate team operations and support staff development
• Build strong patient relationships to facilitate recovery
• Celebrate patient progress and victories

Qualifications

• Current licensure or certification per state requirements
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in an accredited therapy program
• Minimum of three years of occupational therapy or leadership experience, with at least two years of clinical practice
• CPR certification or ability to obtain within 30 days
• Experience with therapy professional certifications or clinical ladder preferred
