Occupational Therapist Lead

About the Role

Seeking a leadership role to oversee occupational therapy services, ensuring seamless implementation of treatments and patient care. This position involves assisting the Director of Therapy Operations with team scheduling, training, and communication, as well as providing direct patient care. The leader will foster patient relationships, celebrate recovery milestones, and promote a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise therapy team operations and support staff development
• Deliver personalized care to patients, understanding their physical, mental, and emotional needs
• Assist with daily team management, including training and communication
• Build strong patient relationships and celebrate their progress

Requirements

• Current state licensure or certification
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in occupational therapy from an accredited program
• Minimum three years of occupational therapy or leadership experience, with at least two years of clinical practice
• CPR certification (must be obtained within 30 days if not already certified)

Preferred Qualifications

• Active Therapy Clinical Ladder status or specialty certifications
