Licensed Mental Health Therapist- Illinois

About the role

We're growing our Illinois team. We're looking for therapists who want to do this work well — with a team that actually supports them. Backpack Healthcare provides mental health care for children, teens, and young adults — all online, covered by most insurance.

Responsibilities

• Carry a caseload of 15–36 sessions per week depending on whether you choose part-time or full-time.
• Work weekday afternoons and evenings (2–9 PM), with weekend availability a plus.
• Conduct intakes and build client-centered, trauma-informed treatment plans.
• Collaborate with our interdisciplinary team — therapists, PMHNPs, and psychiatrists working together.
• Maintain timely documentation in our EHR.
• Support families with education and care coordination, not just the child in the room.
