Licensed/Licensed Eligible Clinical Therapist - Per Diem (Weekends)

About the role

Responsible for comprehensive assessment of persons whose lives are disrupted or complicated by mental illness, behavioral disturbance, substance issues or inability to function or maintain in the community. Assists law enforcement, family members and others with the admission process, both voluntary and involuntary. Makes referrals to community resources as appropriate. Coordinates discharge planning through the medical staff. The therapist is expected to function as a member of the multidisciplinary team and participate in the community relations program of the organization. Participates in continuous performance improvement activities. Communicates with outpatient referral sources, families/guardians, and outpatient aftercare providers.

Requirements

• Masters Degree Required.
• Licensed or eligible for licensure in the state of South Carolina.
• 1–3 years of experience in a clinical mental health setting.
• 3–5 years preferred.
