About the Firm

Our client is an established and growing personal injury law firm in Houston seeking a Spanish-bilingual Legal Intake Specialist to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced legal professional who enjoys working directly with prospective clients and wants to grow with a successful firm.

Responsibilities

• Handle inbound calls, emails, and inquiries from prospective personal injury clients
• Conduct thorough client intake interviews and gather information regarding accidents, injuries, and potential claims
• Screen and qualify prospective clients based on the firm's case criteria
• Clearly explain the intake process and next steps to prospective clients
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of all prospective clients and case information
• Follow up with leads and prospective clients in a timely and professional manner
• Coordinate with attorneys, paralegals, and other members of the legal team regarding new cases
• Enter and update client information in the firm's case management system
• Provide exceptional customer service while communicating with clients who may be experiencing stressful circumstances
• Protect confidential client and case information
• Assist with other administrative and intake-related responsibilities as needed

Requirements

• Bilingual in English and Spanish required
• Previous experience working at a personal injury law firm required
• Prior legal intake, legal assistant, case manager, or client-facing legal experience strongly preferred
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
• Ability to gather and document detailed information accurately
• Highly organized and detail-oriented
• Comfortable handling a high volume of calls and prospective clients
• Professional, empathetic, and confident when communicating with clients
• Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with a legal team
• Must be comfortable working on-site Monday through Friday
