Legal Contract Negotiator

About the role

An experienced contracts negotiator responsible for leading complex cloud services agreements with sophisticated customers. This hybrid legal and business role involves developing internal strategies, crafting proposals, drafting bespoke contractual provisions, collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders, and representing legal interests in negotiations.

Responsibilities

• Lead negotiations of multi-million dollar enterprise contracts involving cloud technology, AI, SaaS, and IaaS.
• Develop strategies and draft contractual terms tailored to customer requirements.
• Collaborate across teams to resolve open issues and drive consensus.
• Interpret complex legal and technical terms, exercise sound judgment, and maintain composure under pressure.
• Contribute to departmental initiatives and scalable solutions, with visibility to senior leaders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; JD or international equivalent preferred.
• 5+ years in multi-million dollar contract negotiations and drafting commercial agreements.
• Experience with complex legal concepts, technology contracts, and B2B enterprise deals involving cloud computing.
• Strong organizational, independent, and creative thinking skills.
• Enthusiastic about technology and team-oriented.
