Requirements
- Minimum of five years of litigation experience.
- Strong understanding of the importance of maintaining client confidentiality.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide legal support to attorneys and paralegals throughout the litigation process.
- Cook up email, calendars, contacts, tasks, and other communications.
- Manage phone calls, voicemail messages, and conference calls.
- Proofread documents for accuracy in content, grammar, spelling, punctuation, and formatting.
- Finalize documents, including redaction of confidential information.
- Aid in managing bates-stamping and organizing exhibits and discovery materials.
- Complete electronic court filings in state, federal, and appellate courts.
- Schedule, coordinate, track, and manage meetings internally and externally.
- Maintain attorney calendars and prepare necessary documents for meetings, hearings, and depositions.
- Schedule and coordinate depositions and hearings.
- Initiate, track, and organize vendor payments and settlement checks.
- Schedule and manage attorney travel arrangements.
- Communicate effectively, courteously, and professionally with clients, attorneys, and staff.
- Learn and utilize new and existing technology efficiently and effectively.
