Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive administrative support to multiple attorneys, including partners and associates.
- Draft, revise, edit, proofread, and format legal documents, correspondence, presentations, agreements, and other legal materials.
- Manage attorney calendars, scheduling, meetings, travel arrangements, and client communications.
- Cookier arrangements, prepare and process time entry, expense reimbursements, billing requests, prebills, and other administrative functions.
- Organize and maintain electronic and physical client files utilizing document management systems.
- Cookier with Legal Executive Assistants, Legal Support Assistants, and fellow Legal Administrative Assistants on larger projects and time-sensitive assignments.
- Maintain strict confidentiality while handling sensitive legal and client information.
- Utilize Microsoft Office and legal technology platforms to produce polished, high-quality work product.
- Communicate professionally with attorneys, clients, court personnel, vendors, and internal business professionals.
Qualifications
- Minimum of two years of recent law firm legal administrative experience is required.
- Candidates without prior law firm experience will not be considered.
- Demonstrated history of strong tenure and career stability is strongly preferred.
- Experience supporting multiple attorneys in a fast-paced legal environment.
- Strong knowledge of legal terminology, legal documentation, and law firm administrative procedures.
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple competing priorities while consistently meeting deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with outstanding attention to detail.
- Strong proofreading, formatting, and document production skills.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Experience with legal technology and document management systems, including iManage, Aderant, DocXTools, or similar platforms, is highly preferred.
- Professional, proactive, highly organized, and able to work independently while collaborating effectively with attorneys and administrative teams.
- Demonstrated professionalism, discretion, sound judgment, and the ability to handle confidential information with the highest level of integrity.
