About the Role
Provides administrative, organizational, and technical support to the firm, ensuring smooth operations and professional client interactions.
Responsibilities
- Enter time into the firm's timekeeping system.
- Handle phone reception, providing information to callers.
- Arrange travel and catering accommodations.
- Schedule meetings and conference room setups.
- Perform e-scanning, facsimile, ECF filing transmittals, transcription, and proofreading of work product for typographical, grammatical, or spelling errors.
- Compile reports from established sources.
- Manage photocopying, mail assembly, distribution, and other records/file maintenance.
- Prepare and/or review patent and trademark applications, reports, documentation, and legal correspondence (e.g., complaints, briefs, motions, interrogatories, contracts, agreements, statements, subpoenas, wills, trusts, summonses).
- Assist attorneys, paralegals, and analysts with the preparation and filing of US Federal/District Court documents or US patent correspondence, transmittal documents, and formal documents.
- Project a professional image that reflects the firm’s standards.
- Interact with clients to support excellent client service and relationships.
- Draft and/or write routine reports and correspondence accurately.
- Manage timekeeper calendars (Outlook) and assist in meeting deadlines, including those associated with US Court or patent applications, prosecutions, litigation, and other events as directed.
- Provide occasional technology support to attorneys and professional staff (e.g., connecting docking stations, monitors, desktops, printers, and other external devices with remote guidance from IT specialists).
- Prioritize workload efficiently and effectively.
- Participate in ongoing training sessions to enhance technical skills.
- Stay informed of all firm policies, standardized procedures, and applications.
- Assist Legal Support Assistant Trainees by providing training, mentoring, and quality assurance.
Pay
The expected salary range for this position in Denver, Colorado is between $63,680.00 and $95,521.00 annually. Actual salary may vary based on relevant skills, experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, area of expertise, and geographic/office location.
