About the Role
In coordination with the Practice Group team, provides administrative support to attorneys, paralegals, legal assistants, legal specialists, and other colleagues as needed and requested.
Responsibilities
- Understands the specific needs and business of the practice group.
- May assist with the business intake process: run adversary searches, draft screening memos and engagement letters, and open new files.
- Manages administrative tasks as requested, including processing and disseminating mail, preparation of audit letter responses, billable time input, expense reports, check requests, and reviewing client billing statements.
- In partnership with the travel vendor, effectively schedules and manages travel arrangements as requested.
- Assists with in-office tasks, projects, overflow work, and other duties (e.g., copying, scanning, filing, preparation of binders, document organization) to support timekeepers, legal assistants, legal specialists, and colleagues.
- Creates and edits documents in Microsoft Office with a high level of attention to detail.
- Effectively manages workflow and priorities.
- Proactively supports the team and demonstrates a positive, collaborative approach.
- May manage logistics for internal and/or external meetings.
- May provide backup support in other areas, such as reception.

Requirements
- High school education with 3+ years of office support experience.
- Experience working in a law firm is a plus.
- Accurate typing; strong knowledge of MS Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat.
- Excellent grammar, spelling, punctuation, and proofreading skills.
- Knowledge of basic office equipment (e.g., copier, scanner, telephones).
- Aptitude to learn new computer programs.
- Excellent professional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational skills to handle multiple priorities and support several colleagues.
- Ability to maintain composure, work professionally, and meet tight deadlines under pressure.
- Excellent judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making skills under general supervision.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to sit, stand, and/or walk for extended periods.
- Manipulate (lift, carry, move) weights of at least ten (10) pounds.
- Repetitive wrist/hand/finger movement for computer and office equipment use.
- Speak clearly and concisely so listeners can understand.
- Regularly understand the speech of another person.
Work Environment
- Professional office atmosphere with exposure to computer screens.
- Sedentary work primarily involving sitting or standing for prolonged periods.
- May require occasional off-hour meetings and events.
Schedule
This position is required to be in-office Monday through Friday, 8:30 am through 5:00 pm.
Pay
Colorado Salary Range: $26.15 - $43.58 per hour. A discretionary bonus may be available based on performance.
