Responsibilities
- Prepare, proofread, and edit legal documents and correspondence.
- Manage attorney calendars, coordinate meetings and travel arrangements.
- Organize and maintain case files (electronic and paper) in compliance with firm procedures.
- Conduct legal research and gather relevant information as needed.
- Assist with time entry, billing support, and expense reimbursements.
- Assist with other departmental or firm-wide coverage and projects as needed.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of administrative support experience in corporate/transactional law at a law firm or other professional services environment.
- PREFERRED: Business-focused administrative support experience.
- Demonstrated proficiency with MS Office required; typing speed of 75 wpm or better and experience using a document management system preferred.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities under deadlines.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail.
- A commitment to delivering high quality work.
About the Role
This full-time, in-office position, based in our Richmond office, will provide comprehensive administrative support to attorneys and paralegals in our growing business section.
