Legal Administrative Assistant
About the role
Clark Hill PLC seeks an experienced full-time Legal Administrative Assistant in its Pittsburgh Office. A minimum of 3-5 years of Banking and Financial Services experience and the ability to work in a team environment is required. Experience in a high-volume, fast-paced legal practice is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide the requisite legal secretarial and administrative support/clerical needs of assigned attorneys
- Prepare letters, memos, and other documentation, as required
- Enter client information into the system to run conflict checks for new clients, as well as preparation of supporting documentation such as engagement letters
- Prepare and file pleadings with the appropriate court system and docketing dates into a central docketing system, as needed
- Make travel arrangements and prepare expense reimbursement documentation
- Answer the phones of assigned attorneys
- Enter attorney time
- Assist attorneys in drafting and finalizing transaction documents and closing binders
- Liaise with clients, lenders, title companies and other parties involved to ensure timely closings
- Maintain organized and accessible transactional files for future reference
Requirements
The successful candidate must be able to:
- Assist attorneys in the Banking & Financial Services area
- Utilize all aspects of Office 365
- Have excellent attention to detail with superb proofreading skills
- Prioritize and manage a high-volume and diverse workload with exceptional organizational skills
- Be a team player and able to absorb information quickly and adapt to change
- Show sound judgment and business acumen when interacting with clients, potential clients, guests, coworkers, and others
Qualifications
Certified Legal Secretary designation is a plus.
Skills
Excellent computer skills utilizing all aspects of Office 365.

This position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. Pay
The salary range at the time of posting is $30-$38 hourly/$62,000-$80,000 annually, based upon a full-time work schedule.
Schedule
This position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
