Position Overview

Bond, Schoeneck & King, PLLC, a law firm of 300 attorneys in over 30 practice groups, is accepting applications for a full-time Administrative Assistant to support our labor and employment law department in our Syracuse, New York office.

Position Responsibilities

  • Interact with clients and attorneys via phone, email, and in-person
  • Manage attorney calendars
  • Draft, revise, and edit documents
  • Open and close files
  • Provide general support to various attorneys
  • Filing, scanning and other administrative tasks as assigned

Job Requirements

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Strong written and interpersonal communication skills
  • In-depth working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to prioritize and complete multiple assignments in an accurate and timely manner
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to Firm needs
  • Reliable, punctual, and professional
  • Team player with a positive attitude
  • Strong typing and transcription experience
  • A background in a Law Firm and/or Labor and Employment Law is preferred, but not required

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years experience in an administrative position

Pay and Benefits

The position's salary range is between $50,000 to $60,000, negotiable based on years’ experience.

An offer of employment from Bond is contingent on: Completion of a satisfactory conflicts check, completion of a satisfactory background check, and completion of a satisfactory reference check.
