About the role
The successful candidate will undertake research and related teaching activities within the School of Science, UNSW Canberra.
Responsibilities
- Conduct scholarly research that advances the School’s international profile.
- Supervise research students and contribute to their development.
- Teach a range of undergraduate and postgraduate courses in chemistry.
Requirements
- PhD in Chemistry or a closely related experimental chemistry discipline.
- Expertise that complements and strengthens the School’s research and teaching profile.
- Demonstrated excellence in teaching, curriculum design, and course delivery at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
- Strong commitment to student success, equity, diversity, and inclusion.
- Established or emerging track record of high-quality research, including scholarly publications, research leadership, supervision of higher degree students, and the ability to develop and sustain a successful research program.
- Ability to build productive relationships with colleagues, industry, and professional networks.
- Highly developed communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

Pay
Level B from $133,065/Level C from $161,619 plus 17% super.
Schedule
Full-time (35 hrs per week).
