About the role
The Department of Biological Sciences at Cal Poly Humboldt seeks to hire temporary faculty members to join our pool of instructors. We are dedicated to providing high-quality education and research opportunities for our students.
Responsibilities
- Teach undergraduate and graduate level courses in Biological Sciences.
- Contribute to departmental research projects and publications.
- Participate in departmental committees and activities.
- Maintain active research programs that align with departmental interests.
Requirements
- M.A./M.S. degree in an appropriate field and successful teaching experience in the field are required.
- Preferred qualifications include: Ph.D., relevance of training and teaching experience to this course, and area of specialization.
Qualifications
- M.A./M.S. degree in progress may be considered.
- B.A./B.S. degree in appropriate field and successful teaching experience, academic or professional work related to the appropriate field may be considered for lab instructor assignments.
Skills
Strong communication skills, ability to work independently and collaboratively, and proficiency in using educational technology tools are desired.
