Lecturer - AMD 313: Digital Photo and the Environment (Fall 2026)

Responsibilities

• Teach AMD 313 Digital Photo and the Environment, an upper division studio course
• Investigate a broad range of artistic practices and contemporary artists who comment on and shape current environmental debates through digital media
• Develop aesthetic strategies for engaging audiences

Requirements

• A master's degree or equivalent experience
• Current portfolio of studio-based work in relevant media
• Teaching experience at the college level or equivalent

Qualifications

• Demonstrate a rich and varied background in photography and digital art that explores the environment and environmental issues

Skills

• Interdisciplinary knowledge of photography and digital art
• Ability to engage students in discussions about environmental issues
