We are looking for a Leave of Absence Administrator to support a high-quality employee leave experience in Irvine, California. This Long-term Contract position will oversee leave administration from intake through return-to-work coordination while ensuring consistent compliance with applicable regulations and internal policies. The ideal candidate brings sound judgment, strong organization, and a compassionate communication style when assisting employees and partnering with cross-functional teams. Responsibilities: • Oversee the full lifecycle of employee leave cases, including eligibility review, documentation tracking, approvals, status updates, and return-to-work coordination. • Administer a range of leave programs such as statutory leaves, disability-related absences, parental time off, and personal leave in accordance with company policy and legal requirements. • Work closely with human resources, payroll, and benefits partners to ensure pay handling, benefit continuation, and employee status changes are processed accurately. • Maintain complete and audit-ready records for each case, ensuring documentation is current, confidential, and aligned with federal, state, and local leave regulations. • Guide employees and managers through the leave process with clear, timely, and empathetic communication from initial request through reintegration planning. • Monitor deadlines, certifications, and case milestones to support timely decisions and a smooth employee experience. • Review leave practices regularly and recommend practical improvements that increase efficiency, consistency, and service quality. • Support leave-related process updates and operational changes as needed, including coordination tied to evolving workflows or systems. • Experience administering employee leave programs, disability claims, or related benefits processes in a corporate HR or benefits environment. • Working knowledge of federal, state, and local leave laws, with the ability to apply regulations accurately in day-to-day case management. • Strong attention to detail and recordkeeping skills, with the ability to manage sensitive information confidentially. • Effective communication skills with a detail-oriented and empathetic approach to employee support. • Ability to collaborate across HR, payroll, benefits, and management teams to resolve issues and ensure smooth case administration. • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple active cases, deadlines, and documentation requirements. • Background in quality assurance, manual testing, or automation tools such as Selenium is a plus.
