About the role

Greystar is a leading real estate platform offering property management, investment management, development, and construction services in institutional-quality rental housing. The Leasing Professional will perform all sales and leasing activities to achieve the community's revenue and occupancy goals.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and qualify prospects, conduct community tours and show apartments, process applications, credit screen, and conduct criminal background checks.
  • Prepare lease and move-in packages, ensure smooth move-ins and lease signings, and inspect apartments prior to move-in to ensure they are in move-in ready condition.
  • Develop and implement marketing plans to sustain occupancy, follow community policies regarding concessions, specials, and programs, and execute marketing activities such as resident referral and employer outreach programs.
  • Track apartment availability, record leasing activities, manage resident and prospect data, and maintain show units to meet show quality standards.
  • Follow up with prospects and new residents to ensure satisfaction, respond to resident concerns, and take prompt action to solve problems.
  • Execute lease renewal program by preparing lease renewal letters and packages, meeting with renewing residents, and ensuring timely implementation of lease renewal documents.

Requirements

Incumbents must have all licenses and/or certifications as required by State and Local jurisdictions and a valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on property.

Physical Demands

  • Stand, walk, and/or sit for extended periods of time, bend, stoop, climb ladders, reach, carry objects, and crawl in confined areas.
  • Work inside and outside in all weather conditions (rain, snow, heat, hail, wind, sleet).
  • Push, pull, lift, carry, or maneuver weights of up to twenty-five (25) pounds independently and fifty (50) pounds with assistance.
  • Rare or regular travel may be required to assist other properties as needed, attend training classes, business meetings, or other situations necessary for the accomplishment of some or all of the daily responsibilities of this position.
  • Work a flexible work schedule, which includes taking “call” during evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Pay

The hourly range for the position is $19.00 - $21.00. Additional compensation includes participation in a quarterly or annual bonus program based on individual and company performance, and weekly, monthly, and/or quarterly bonus programs for onsite property positions. Qualifications

Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, and relevant experience in real estate or sales. Previous experience in property management or leasing is preferred.

Skills

Strong interpersonal and communication skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and knowledge of property management software (OneSite, Yardi, etc.).

Schedule

The schedule for this position is flexible, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
