Our apartment community, Town & Country Apartments, is currently looking for a "ROCKSTAR" Leasing Manager to join our team at our beautiful 600+ unit property located in Urbana, Illinois. The ideal candidate should enjoy customer service and working with the public, be able to build and maintain rapport with tenants to promote retention, and have prior experience developing and implementing marketing plans to increase occupancy. A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required. The role oversees, directs, and mentors the leasing team to meet departmental goals, requires strong technical skills in budget preparation, reporting, leasing, and operations, and demands attention to detail. The Leasing Manager also practices Fair Housing Laws and monitors the leasing team to ensure compliance.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain rapport with tenants and promote retention.
- Develop and implement marketing plans to increase occupancy.
- Oversee, direct, and mentor the leasing team to meet departmental goals.
- Prepare budgets, run reports, and manage leasing and operations.
- Ensure compliance with Fair Housing laws and monitor leasing team adherence.
Requirements
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Prior experience developing and implementing marketing plans to increase occupancy.
- Strong customer service skills and ability to work with the public.
- Ability to lift up to 15 pounds occasionally.
- Ability to traverse properties with stairs and in various weather conditions.
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk, working on a computer, and standing/walking for tours and tenant meetings.
