Leasing Manager
About the role
We're seeking a skilled leasing manager to oversee apartment rentals, move-ins and move-outs, and lease renewals. This position involves marketing and direct interaction with residents to maximize occupancy and ensure satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Conducts training, facilitates meetings, and coaches leasing consultants to enhance performance.
- Leads traffic, qualifies prospects, leases apartments, prepares lease documents, and processes move-in paperwork.
- Ensures lease applications are accurate and payment is collected before forwarding to the property manager for approval.
- Maintains detailed records of traffic activity and coordinates move-in/out schedules with the maintenance team.
- Supports resident activities to increase retention and ensures excellent customer service.
- Manages resident issues, inspects buildings and grounds for safety and cleanliness, and alerts maintenance to repair needs.
- Completes weekly market surveys and assists with planning and implementing resident activities.
Requirements
- High school diploma with at least one year of residential leasing and/or management experience.
- Prior experience with a revenue management system, Yardi or similar property management system, and customer reputation management tools.
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to read, write, comprehend, and converse in English, and proficiency with general office equipment.
- Must maintain a valid driver's license, clean driving record, and current auto insurance.

- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- Sensitivity to confidential matters and the ability to work independently with a strong sense of urgency.

Pay
$23 to $25 per hour

Qualifications
