In this role, you’ll play a key role in supporting lease transactions, contract processing, accounts receivable, and customer service for our real estate portfolio.
This position prepares standard and non-standard real estate lease-related documents, executes lease administration activities, monitors accounts receivable, and responds to inquiries—all with occasional supervision.
Responsibilities
- Real Estate Transaction Processing
- Prepares standard real estate lease-related documents (to initiate, administer, or terminate leases) and routes for approval.
- Prepares and processes sale agreements and supporting documentation for approval.
- Executes standard lease administration activities, including new lease agreements, re-negotiations, terminations, sales, and non-compliance matters.
- Inputs basic information into the real estate database.
- Assists Leasing Managers with the annual percentage rent program.
- Administrative
- Prepares correspondence, letters, and standard/non-standard internal documents and memos for approval.
- Follows up on outstanding issues regarding lease agreements with internal and external parties.
- Accounts Receivable & Financials
- Researches and prepares past-due notices and related documentation.
- Computes basic lease and rental calculations.
- Prepares and mails past-due notices.
- Customer Service Support
- Receives and responds to standard inquiries on the status of lease negotiations or resolution of issues.
- Delivers a high level of customer service.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in real estate or lease administration, banking, escrow, property management, or a related industry.
- Solid understanding of real estate contracts and documentation.
- Familiarity with ground leases, rent re-negotiations, and tenant rights.
- Strong negotiation, project management, and communication skills (written and verbal).
- Ability to manage competing priorities and conflict.
- Familiarity with legal documents and strong attention to detail.
- Solid math skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office; ability to learn new systems.
- Strong customer service orientation and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Notary Public designation.
Physical Requirements
- Frequently sits, performs desk-based computer tasks, and uses light or fine manipulation (e.g., typing, grasping).
- Occasionally stands, walks, writes by hand, and lifts/carries/pushes/pulls objects up to 10 pounds.
- Rarely twists, bends, stoops, squats, kneels, crawls, climbs, reaches above shoulder, or grasps forcefully.
Working Conditions
- Work is conducted in an office/school environment but may require travel to various locations, including neighbor islands, to conduct business.
- Typically works Monday through Friday during normal business hours, but evening and weekend hours may be required to meet goals and objectives.
Pay
Hourly pay range: $30.87 - $41.93.
