Leasing Consultant

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact for prospective residents, providing excellent customer service throughout the leasing process.
• Respond promptly to inquiries via phone, text, email and in-person visits, addressing questions, scheduling tours, and promoting available apartments.
• Congduct informative and engaging property tours, showcasing the features and amenities of each community.
• Highlight the unique selling points of the community and effectively communicate the benefits of residency.
• Guide prospective residents through the leasing process, including application submission, background checks, and lease signings.
• Ensure all necessary paperwork is completed accurately and in compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
• Stay informed about local market trends, competitor pricing, and industry developments to effectively position our properties within the market.
• Make recommendations for rental rate adjustments as needed to maintain competitiveness and maximize occupancy.
• Foster positive relationships with current residents to promote retention and satisfaction.
• Address resident concerns and inquiries promptly and professionally, striving to resolve issues to the satisfaction of all parties involved.
• Assist in the development and implementation of marketing strategies to attract prospective residents.
• Utilize various channels, including online platforms, social media, and community outreach events to generate leads and increase property visibility.
• Perform various administrative duties, such as maintaining leasing office supplies, organizing files, and updating leasing databases and systems with accurate and current information.
• Collaborate effectively with all team members to ensure seamless operations and exceptional resident experiences.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree preferred
• Previous experience in leasing, sales, customer service, or related field preferred
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse individuals
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills
• Spanish-language proficiency preferred
• Knowledge of Fair Housing laws and regulations
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed
