Leasing Consultant

About the role

Leasing Consultant position located in Cleveland Heights (Cedar/Fairmount/Coventry neighborhoods). Typical schedule Monday through Friday 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM with rotation on Saturdays 9 AM – 5 PM.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with prospective residents by identifying needs and touring apartment homes that meet those needs.
• Maintain the property and available apartment homes in pristine condition for showings and new resident move-in.
• Participate in marketing, sales, and customer service activities with current and future residents.
• Prepare resident leases/renewals and related paperwork; support the Management Team as needed.
• Use marketing skills to seek new residents through social media, cold calling, and community organizations in targeted areas.
• Support resident retention through positive resident interactions.
• Develop an understanding of the local market by shopping competitors via telephone surveys and site visits.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Experience working in leasing, customer service, or hospitality.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record and reliable vehicle for workday use.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of fair housing laws.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Strong organization, personal accountability, persuasiveness, and customer service skills.
• Understanding of Property Management Systems; Yardi Voyager experience is a plus.

Pay

Hourly wage between $18 and $21.
