Responsible for
- Managing the sales/leasing funnel at the assigned community(s)
- Producing sales results commensurate with the company’s performance benchmarks
- Evaluating and having expertise in assigned community(s) competitors’ offerings and pricing
- Preparing the office and tour path for business
- Promoting community through various grass roots campaigns
- Assisting with community social media
- Providing service to new applicants to get approval
- Coordinating leasing documents for move-in and move-in orientation
- Assisting with resident events and appreciation campaigns
- Communicating and coordinating with onsite and support team
- Helping to address and resolve issues
- Participating in industry appropriate networking groups
- Participating in service projects and establishing contacts within the community
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Follows established procedures
- Complies with internal leasing policies, Fair Housing requirements, and other applicable laws and regulations
- Provides excellent service to existing residents
- Focuses on resident retention
- Communicates and coordinates with other team members and stakeholders
- Delivers high level resident satisfaction while maintaining Fair Housing Practices
- Helps to address and resolve issues
- Encouraged/Expected to participate in industry appropriate networking groups
- Encouraged/Expected to participate in service projects, and to establish and maintain contacts within the community to promote Centerspace
Operational
- May assist with administrative duties as directed
- Maintains accurate records in software and files
- Responsible for 40% marketing & sales, 40% customer service, 20% business admin
Financial
- Maintains accurate records in software and files
Equipment
- Standard computer package issued
- If expected to carry a mobile phone, eligible for monthly reimbursement according to company policy
Travel
- Some local travel may be required
Education & Experience
- High School Diploma, or equivalent
- Background in sales is preferred
Computer Skills
- To perform this job successfully, an individual should be computer literate
- Have knowledge of Property Management software; MRI preferred
- Working knowledge of Outlook, Word, and Excel
- The ability to use a computer in a professional manner is required
Physical Requirements
- Regularly required to talk or hear
- Frequently required to sit
- Occasionally required to stand, walk; use hands to handle or feel; and reach with arms and hands
- Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds
