Job Duties

  • Serve all stakeholders with integrity, humility, and joy while consistently modeling the importance of both task competency and relationships;
  • Participate in Company events, activities, and meetings with a smile and an infectious, great attitude;
  • Administer and serve as the internal subject matter expert to improve system solutions for our learning management system (LMS), Agilix Buzz;
  • Lead large-scale LMS projects, including implementations, migrations, upgrades, or feature rollouts;
  • Regularly perform routine system administrator functions, including maintenance/updates, system backups, security, roles, profiles, domain permissions, and customizations;
  • Act as a thought partner for integrations with student information systems (SIS), content providers, and other third-party tools while assessing feasibility, documenting requirements, and managing implementation;
  • Create and distribute analytics, reports, and dashboards for user departments;
  • Collaborate with instructional designers, curriculum developers, and academic leaders to align system setup with instructional goals;
  • Configure templates, courses, gradebooks, categories, weighting, and work settings as needed;
  • Identify system problems, develop fixes, ensure complete quality assurance testing, and implement solutions;
  • Document and maintain process maps, data flows, and integration logic across the LMS and all connected platforms while ensuring institutional knowledge is captured, versioned, and accessible;
  • Troubleshoot and resolve user-reported issues in a timely manner, providing hands-on support to staff and ensuring minimal disruption to instruction and operations;
  • Serve as product liaison with other vendors and ensure continued systems operations through partner update lifecycles;
  • Collect and prioritize user feedback, address questions, document enhancement requests, and collaborate internally and externally to plan and implement system improvements aligned with organizational goals;
  • Document and train staff on system best practices and processes;
  • Recommend enhancements and configurations as the staff expert, and stay current on Agilix Buzz updates, features, and best practices;
  • Own the knowledge base for the LMS ecosystem, including user-facing documentation, training materials, and internal system guides;

  • Strong understanding of system administration, including user roles, permissions, security, customizations, maintenance, and backups;
  • Expertise with SIS integrations, third-party content/tools, APIs, and vendor relationship management;
  • Strong autonomy and proven capability to perform at a high level with minimal oversight;
  • Demonstrated ability to document systems - process maps, data flows, integration diagrams, user guides - with clarity and consistency;
  • Demonstrated experience gathering requirements, performing gap analysis, and/or translating operational needs into technical specifications;
  • Demonstrated ability to make informed decisions with significant impact on departmental operations and management;
  • Systematic problem-solving skills with the ability to determine root cause problems and implement solutions;
  • Able to handle multiple, complex priorities and balance the needs of each according to business impact;
  • Demonstrated success as a team player possessing a positive attitude, strong work ethic, entrepreneurial spirit, and flexibility;
  • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, high-energy environment and juggle multiple deadlines and tasks;
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Educational Technology, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience;
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience administering Agilix Buzz Learning Management System; experience administering similar learning management systems may be considered in lieu of Agilix Buzz;
  • Prior experience in a role as a Business Analyst or Systems Analyst preferred;
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to train and support non-technical users;
  • Working knowledge of what constitutes personally identifiable information (PII) and how to prevent incidental or unauthorized disclosure;
  • Strong experience with Mac OS, Google Workspace, and Asana preferred;
  • Private, distraction-free, professional remote work environment with high-speed internet;
  • Ability to pass required background checks.

Pay

Base Pay Range: $70,000 - $95,000 USD
