Job Responsibilities
- Support classroom instruction by working with individual students and small groups to reinforce academic skills.
- Aid teachers in implementing developmentally appropriate instruction aligned with diocesan and school curriculum standards.
- Provide academic intervention and learning support for students with diverse needs.
- Help maintain a positive, respectful, and structured learning environment consistent with Catholic values.
- Monitor and support student progress and share feedback with classroom teachers.
- Support differentiated instruction to meet varied learning abilities.
- Assist with classroom preparation, instructional materials, and learning activities.
- Supervise students during instructional periods and other assigned duties.
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and administration to support student success.
- Participate in school liturgies, meetings, professional development, and school events.
- Model and uphold the mission, teachings, and values of Catholic education.
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all school-related matters.
Job Requirements
- A high school diploma is required.
- An associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field is preferred.
- Experience working with children in an educational or instructional setting is preferred.
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills are required.
- The ability to work collaboratively as part of a team is essential.
- Patience, flexibility, and a student-centered approach to learning are valued.
- Practicing Catholic is preferred; must support and respect Catholic teachings and traditions.
