About the role

The Boldt Company is seeking a Learning Experience Designer (LXD) to create innovative, end-to-end learning experiences that build capability and drive real behavior change across the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Translate business needs into meaningful learning journeys that are practical, relevant, and embedded into the way work gets done.
  • Shape the future of learning at Boldt by integrating AI-enabled approaches to enhance personalization, reinforcement, and learning in the flow of work—ensuring employees can apply knowledge immediately and effectively on the job.
  • Design blended learning solutions, performance support tools, and scalable, facilitation-ready programs that align with Boldt’s culture and operating model.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of experience in learning design, instructional design, or capability building
  • Experience with content authoring tools and Learning Management Systems (LMS)
  • Experience using AI tools to enhance learning or performance support
  • Proven ability to design blended learning that drives behavior change (portfolio required)
  • Strong ability to translate business needs into clear learning objectives and solutions
  • Familiarity with measuring learning impact and performance outcomes
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and SharePoint
  • Strong organization, attention to detail, and follow-through
  • Excellent problem-solving and collaboration skills

Qualifications

  • Nice to have: experience designing end-to-end learning journeys (pre-work through sustainment), experience creating facilitator-ready programs and train-the-trainer materials, experience developing performance support tools (job aids, playbooks, checklists), familiarity with “learning in the flow of work” approaches, experience integrating AI into learning (e.g., prompts, guided workflows, learning agents), understanding of frontline work environments and operational realities, alignment with Boldt’s values: humble, hungry, smart, reliable, and gritty

Actual pay will be adjusted based on an individual’s skills, experiences, education, and other job-related factors permitted by law.

Pay

The anticipated salary range for this position is $84,000.00 - $109,000.00 annually.
