About the role

TSMC Arizona’s first fab will operate the N4 process, starting production in the first half of 2025; the second fab will utilize N3 and N2 process technology and be operational in 2028; the recently announced third fab will manufacture chips using 2nm or even more advanced process technology, with production starting by the end of the decade. As a Learning & Development Specialist, you will demonstrate reliability and enthusiasm while embodying the core values of Integrity, Commitment, Innovation, and Customer Trust. You will support the design, coordination, and delivery of TSMC Arizona’s learning, onboarding, and organization development programs, administering and continuously improving the newcomer experience (New Employee Orientation, Buddy program, associated systems and surveys), owning logistics, tracking, and reporting for assignee training and intercultural adaptability programs, the monthly HR Index, the Tuition Subsidy program, and the TSMC ICIC Value Program. You will serve as a key operational partner to program owners, translating program requirements into scheduled, well‑run sessions, accurate data, and clear reporting. This is primarily office‑based work directly related to TSMC Arizona’s general business operations – learning program administration, instructional and onboarding logistics, survey and data management, and cross‑functional coordination across HR, business units, and external training vendors. You will exercise discretion and independent judgment on matters of significance: determining how to schedule and sequence training and onboarding activities to meet business needs, evaluating program and survey data to identify gaps and recommend improvements, prioritizing competing program demands, and interpreting participation and completion data to inform recommendations to program owners and leadership. Work Location: 5088 W. Innovation Circle, Phoenix, AZ 85083.
