Description About the role: The Learning & Development (L&D) Specialist works collaboratively with the Learning & Development Manager, Human Resources, Safety, department managers, subject matter experts, and the general workforce to coordinate training and employee development. The L&D Specialist plays an essential role in aligning training needs with both business and employee needs. Essential Functions Coordinate schedules, venues, materials, meals, audio/visual, and other requirements for in-person training eventsAdminister Learning Management System (LMS) including record management, reporting, adding/updating online courses, troubleshooting, registration, and class scheduling Support the L&D Manager with scheduling and calendar managementSupport the L&D Manager with project intake and prioritizationSupport employees with registration and general administration for all L&D programsCoordinate vendor contracting and invoicingEdit and create videos, recordings, and presentations associated with L&D classes and programsPartner with subject matter experts to develop L&D content that aligns with company values, adult learning principles, instructional design best practices, and a focus on safetyWork effectively with a diverse workforceTravel to jobsites throughout the Colorado Front Range on occasion Requirements Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Learning & Development, Human Resources, Business or similar field, or equivalent work experience 4-7 years of experience in a Learning & Development roleStrong client service orientation Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects concurrently Strong communication skills (written and verbal); ability to present complex/technical information in a clear, informative manner Proficiency using Microsoft suite of applications Familiarity with adult learning theory and instructional design techniques preferred Valid Driver’s License What We Offer Our Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP)Open Paid Leave Program and paid parental leave Flexible benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance401(k) match Competitive compensation, cash bonuses, spot-bonuses Cell phone reimbursement We are committed to making a positive impact in the communities where we live, work, and play through our Volunteer Time Off program.
