Job Description

The Learning & Development Coordinator supports the planning, coordination, and administration of employee training and development programs. This role involves managing training logistics, learning systems, and program documentation, ensuring employees have the necessary resources and training to succeed. Key responsibilities include executing learning and development programs, coordinating training schedules, maintaining training materials, and supporting succession planning initiatives.

Required

  • 2+ years of experience supporting learning and development, training administration, workforce development, or a related function.
  • Experience administering Learning Management Systems (LMS).
  • Experience coordinating programs, schedules, projects, or training initiatives in a professional environment.
  • Experience working with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
  • Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and background check.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with departments across the organization.

Preferred

  • Workday Learning Management System experience.
  • Experience within the construction, skilled trades, or industrial industries.
  • Experience supporting employee onboarding, training programs, or workforce development initiatives.

  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Familiarity with learning management systems and reporting tools.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to process consistency.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with departments across the organization.
